Maya Moore

Maya Moore is a former news anchor and journalist at Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) and other television stations. With extensive experience living in several countries around the globe, her speciality is in comparative cultures. Maya teaches at Shirayuri College, and is involved with the Virtual English Class Project  between the American School in Japan and several elementary schools in Ofunato, Iwate Prefecture—one of the areas hardest hit by the Great Tohoku Earthquake.
